The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR), Research and Analysis Bureau, is responsible for providing administrative support to the Governor's Workforce Development Board (GWDB) Industry Sector Councils, such as coordinating with each Council in the preparation of their meeting agendas, the distribution of the agenda, meeting minutes and other materials; providing information regarding Nevadan youth initiatives and ensuring youth initiatives are represented in the goals of each Council; and assisting each Council in seeking and applying for public and private resources to support the sector's work and projects for job training and education programs.

The sector council administration team encourages collaborative private and public partnerships to support Nevada's statewide industry sector initiative. In addition, the sector council administration team implements the policies, goals and activities approved by the Councils, and ensures that the Councils adhere to the GWIB/GWDB Industry Sector Council Bylaws, as well as Nevada's Open Meeting Laws.
